In this tour we will walk you through amazing cobblestone streets and pass by spectacular constructions from the Inca’s time, colonial and republican periods. You will have the opportunity to see some very picturesque squares, churches, ancient temples, small street markets and more.

Hosted By Kantu

My full name is Kantu Valer Melgar, everyone calls me Kantu: it is the Quechua name for the national flower of Peru. I was born in Cusco and I grew up with my grandmother Adela and my father Josmar in a very traditional town at the southeast of Cusco called San Jeronimo.
My father is also a tour guide, and he taught me everything about our culture and history - that is why I became a guide too. I have a bachelor's degree in Tourism form the National University of Cusco.
It's been 9 years now since I gave my first tour and I still have the same passion and love for what I do. My job has given me so many great opportunities to grow as a person, experience fantastic places and meet amazing people!
