For a long time, many people have been wondering where Peru is and what Lima is…
On this tour we are going to discover Lima centre, or as some people called it, Lima downtown. Lima has lots of history and holds different style of architecture due to many factors such as earthquakes, migration, etc. Especially because of migration Lima has such as a big diversity in culture, traditions, drinks and food. FOOD! We are talking about the best culinary town in the world! You don’t believe me? Check who won best chef in the world in 2017 at Chef’s Choice Award and The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
At Chabuca Granda’s alameda, we will see how Lima started to grow up until now that holds third part of Peru’s population. With people comes migration, local and foreign. And guess what local and foreing migration brings? Yes! FOOD! (sorry to be a little bit passionated when we talk about food).
We are going to know why there are many different names on the streets and why they put those names. Walking and walking, step by step, smile after smile, laugh after laugh we will arrive to Lima’s main square where there are many important buildings like the President’s palace (we will try to see El Presidente), Lima’s Cathedral, Casa Del Oidor, etc. Let’s talk about history and interesting facts that you probably haven’t heard about Lima.
We are going to walk through Lima’s streets on the ground and in the air. Wondering how?
